Jess at poker

This photo was taken when we went to Ryans house for his bday. A lot of people went ot his house that day, and I took this photo while they were all playing poker. Jess was sitting and watching them play for god knows how many hours.

Today was a pretty average day. Nothing great happened. I finished writing my othello essay, and now I have to finish my ISU book so that I can write my next essay for thursday. Stupid english. I can't wait for that course to finish.

In other news, I finally got a dvd burner. I must say, dvd burners are wicked. I cleared up so much space off my computer. I went from around 4 gigs of free space to 47.64 gigs of space. Hopefully when I switch back to highspeed I can start doing some crazy downloading. For now I must continue burning stuff. Dvd burners are amazing!

Stuff

On Hate
Lot of hate going around but it just shouldn't be. Personally, I do have people on my "list" that Willie has just written on her blog but I just think to openly insult and talk about them is not what people should be doing. Just think about it, everyone will grow up and when your an adult, you'll have enemies soon but you don't just say it in their face, just save it. It like what my mom said. She said if you don't really like someone, don't ignore them or yell at them, just say hi and leave it at that. This is hard for many, but i've learned to just let things slide. To some this is the pussy way but I saves me a lot of time and effort so thats my style. I don't really know if any of that just made sense but if it did, i hope you follow it.

On Future
I'm gonna start with the Formal cuz its so soon. When we go to Formal, im expecting it to be a magical night, no fights, no tears (except of happiness!). This is a once in a lifetime thing, after this we might have reunions and things like taht, but we are kids now, we should enjoy this one night of partying. I'm also expecting a crazy after party, one where everyone will be there and there will be lots of food and very little alcohol! I know we'll prolly play games, talk a lot, sleep very little and maybe even go somewhere and I'm looking forward to it all

In the summer, i want to enjoy this as well. Krishna's everyday sounds pretty good. However, a job is something i also want so maybe krishnas 3 times a week. I really want to go on a trip too with my friends. and like Eddu said, have an adventure where we train, get super powers and fight monsters! I think it possible as long as we beleive!

In university; which is coming very soon, i hope to keep in touch with all my friends. Not being able to see you all will be quite sad but im pretty sure we'll all be happy in our little worlds. I think i'll be going to Waterloo, so anyone who got or is going to be accpeted, PARTY! Hopefully, all will go smoothly in uni and it'll be a happy time with happy moments like high school.

A great year indeed

Today marks my blogs one year anniversary. A lot has happened in this one year. Lost some close friends, made some new ones, but still a great year. After looking over a few of my older posts I noticed two things. One, the things we do haven't really changed. Two, I have really poor grammer.

So for this blog I thought it would be nice to post a lot of my favourite posts and photos. I will have a bunch of links at the bottom of this post.

After a full year the only thing that has really changed is friends. I haven't really lost contact with them, but its still not the same as it use to be. However at the same time I have met new people which is also very good. This last year was a very momentus year. Lots of ups and downs. Right now I feel it is somewhat down.

The only downfalls this year was when friends were fighting. A lot of the bickering has stopped which is good. However now new groups of people are fighting which sucks. There is too much hate going around. Lots of this hate is based on stupid reasons too. People need to realize that they only have about a month left of school and need to spend time with each other. After a month most people will be heading their seperate ways and people will eventually lose contact with certain people. This isn't the time to fighting. Its the time to be having fun.

That is just a small assortment of Photos and posts I liked. I didn't really go through all my posts, just mainly read titles. What do you think the best post or photo posted was? I would really like to know which photo people think was the best.

Derek and Annie

It was very difficult to get a picture of Annie. She kept covering her face. I luckily managed to get this photo of them while they were talking. I am not quite sure if I took this photo, but I am almost certain I did. We had met up with Derek and Annie at Yorkdale and headed back home with them.

These last two days have been quite enjoyable. Yesterday Raymonds megacollage came in and it looked quite nice. I must thank Kingsleys mom for printing it for us. I must get one for myself sometime soon. Yesterday we plyed timesplitters then went and got some Lee's Wok. We have been going there more and more often now. I think I am slowly starting to like the place. Its still not that great of a restaurant.

Afterwards we went to Wilsons house and played some poker. I was in for 2.50 because we were low on chips. Anyways I was pwned really quickly in the beginning of the game. After 30 minutes we switched up who was facing who (We had 2 games going, each with 5 people). When I moved to the other game I went from around 40 cents to over $3. I had won every hand I played. I thank it all to Simons lucky chair. This all went downhill as soon as simon took that luck from me. After that I lost everyhand and got booted out. After I lost I took a nap on wilsons couch. Wilson had the craziest winnie the pooh pillows. They were filled with beads and were amazing. Towards the end the game got pretty intense. Kevin Dang came back out of no where. He was up around $25. Derek also made a meager comeback and made some money.

On a sidenote, Derek is the biggest bully in poker. Also raises so much. I had like 1.50 and he would raise a $1 before the flop.

Today we played some soccer midway through the day and it was tiring. I was shocked at how out of shape I was. It could have been due to the fact that we only had 4 on 4, so everyone had to do a lot more running, but it was still tiring. I was shocked at how people like philip, ryan, and nelson wouldn't stop running up and down the field.

After soccer we went to raymonds aunt's place to get some dinner. I had to get my special fried rice but the other guys got all this other random stuff. The food was quite good. I always enjoy the food there.

We ended the day with some video games at ryans house. I managed to fix his sisters wireless internet which was good. Also we got to see naruto 133 which was very nice. The fights were nice, the drawing were pathetic. After Naruto we played Timesplitters then Resident Evil. Resident Evil was mad fun. It was scary at times which was hilarious because you can hear all of us screaming stuff like "LEFT RIGHT FOWARD SHOOT SHOOT AHHHHHH" Good times. Sucks tomorrow is sunday. I have so much work I need to do. Damn english!

English Sucks

I love this photo of Jimmy Cheryl and Willie. Mainly because Jimmy has a very bizarre look on his face. I took this photo the day we went to Yorkdale. The reflections in the photo also look pretty cool.

I wrote the SIN contest today and was throughly trashed. I guessed 9 random questions. I attempted a few but couldn't get the right answer. Those problems were mad hard.

English was very depressing as usual. I got 70% on my presentation. God I hate English. Worst subject ever. Even though its probably the most important subject, I still hate it. Hopefully in university I won't have to take a lot of english courses. Math all the way for me!

People and their black sunglases

It has been quite some time since my last post. I have been so busy recently. Lots of physics, english and data hwk. Thats all over now. All I have left for the next little bit is just some english essays. I can worry about those later. Anyways this photo was taken a while back on the day we went to yorkdale. The guys had found some weird black sunglasses in the SAC room and were wearing it around school. I took a photo of willie and jimmy wearing it.

I can't really remember everything that has happened over the last week and a bit but I shall try to recount as much as I can. Last friday we had gone out and searched for a gift for Joanna. We decided on getting her a puzzle but it took some time to decide which puzzle to get. Jimmy picked some disney characters sitting on a bench sleeping so we went with that. We also got her a winnie the pooh bear kicking a soccer ball. Only weird thing was that the soccer ball was between pooh bears legs. So we all made fun of it saying it was eddu. The craziest part of that day was some really big gundam model. It was about the size of me and cost $4000. There was a little tag that said "You break it you buy it". It was funny to think of the things we would have done if we broke it. After getting the gifts we went to ryans house and moved around some stuff for him. I was struggling but still managed to help a bit. Jimmy was useless and just ran away because of some Styrofoam.

Afterwards ryan drove us home and I think that was the end of that day.

Saturday was a litle more eventful. It was redford and Eddu's birthday so we had to go out for dinner. It was quite a punk deciding on a place to go. So many people and so many conflicting ideas. The place we had decided to go to was too full so we were standing outside for an hour trying to pick a place. In the end we went hot pot, and not everyone joined us. Hot pot was quite bad. It was fun talking and stuff, but the food wasn't that great. It can't compare to KBBQ. We headed back to my house afterwards and played some timesplitters. The guys who didn't go ended up just playing poker. It was quite a long night. The guys didn't leave until around 4 a.m. All great fun though.

Nothing has really happened since then. Table arrangements have been a punk but I think we have finally solved that problem. And by we, I mean kingsley. All thats left for me to do is finish the slideshow.

Random Stuff

On Sports
I'mm writing about sports cuz i am watching a basketball game now and ive been watching most of them, except for the ones at 10:30. And speaking of basketball, i hope to play alot more of it during the summer. Right now, i have the intramurals but theyre pretty gay since guys cant be in the key. Even though i dont really go in the key, theres always a chance i need to. To all those who wanna play, u know who to call when u need an extra guy. To all the football fans, im also game for a game anytime. I think the main person im soeaking to is EDDU since he has his own football now. Hope to be a lot more active and maybe lose some weight!

On Work
When i talk about work i mean homework and me trying to find a job. Homework right now is pretty hectic but its mainly my fault since i rarely do any work anymore. Got two ISU which isnt a lot but since i havent really started, gonna be some work. I also got the assembly to write so whoever wants to help with ideas, feel free. On the job front, i got asked to attend a group interview for IKEA which ryan drove me to to drop off my resume. Jimmy also went and he got a call too, only ryan didnt. IM SORRY RYAN! If i do get a job there, it might be a hassle to bus there but ill prolly still do it. Im also applying to other places but havent really handed any of the applications in yet. If anyone knows any openings for a summer job in scarborough, plz tell me. thx

On Formal
Formal is coming soon and I havent really done anything to get ready for it. Clothing: havent gone tux/suit hunting yet and im not really sure what im looking for, Transportation: Going in a limo prolly, not really sure about that yet, SEating plan: im somewhere with my friends so thats all good, After party: KRISHNAS! and maybe something more, not sure about that either. It'll be a magical night filled with magical memories and magical people!
