Good Triumphs Over Evil

I took this photo when I had gone to the beach with a bunch of people. The next few photos will probably be from stuff that happened at the beach. Justin will most likely be very angry because I made him evil.

Currently I have no idea what I had done on Monday. Perhaps I will figure it out later on in the post. Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. I spent a bulk of the day watching anime. Towards the end of the day we all got together and went to Ryans house....I think. We played some gamecube and talked for quite some time. We then headed out to Destiny and got some good bubble tea and talked some more. It was a great day.

Today was also a pretty relaxing day. I spent most of the morning watching One Piece. The characters are all so funny. My favourite character next to Luffy is probably Tony Tony Chopper.

After a chunk of anime I went out and played some volleyball with the guys. It is shocking how bad I am at volleyball. It was still pretty fun to play. but bumping the ball hurts too much. I also played a bit of tennis with ryan. I suck at tennis also but I enjoy running around. It sort of made me want to play badminton again, but I have no one to play with and no where to play. I also don't have a racquet.

After volleyball we all went home and nothing really materialized. Justin came down but it got too late and we didn't really end up going anywhere, so justin just left at around 10ish. However on his way home something darted in front of his car and he had to swerve out of the way to dodge it. This resulted in him hitting the curb and getting a flat tire. So the next hour and a bit was spent trying to replace this mans tire. Luckily our neighbourhood hero Nelson came to the rescue and helped us get the tire off. My dad was also outside for a bit making sure we didn't crush ourselves and whatnot. After a lot of effort we managed to get that damn flat tire off and then quickly put the new tire back on.

Now I am going to watch a bit more anime then head to bed. hopefully tomorrow will be more promising.

A hungry black man

I took this photo of justin when we had gone to pho once. I doubt Justin was actually hungry, but I wanted a a funny title

A lot has happened since my last post on tuesday. I shall start with Wednesday nothing had happened, it was pretty much laid back studying for Calculus on thursday. Calc was a pretty okay exam. I have yet to get my mark back for it but I think I did okay. It was the greatest moment leaving that exam. I was soooooo happy. I love waterloo and I love lectures, but I hate writing exams. Too much pressure and too much studying.

After the exam Simon and his friend kyle came to our suite after their physics exam. They talked about their exam for a bit and Kyle (Simon's friend) and I played a game of chess. Kyle is a pro chess player. He was Hamilton regional champion and I believe he destroys everyone in the waterloo chess club. So Simon had mentioned to me that he could be me blind folded. I did not believe simon so I told simon to send out a challenge. After their physics exam Kyle and I had our chess game. Kyle covered his eyes with one of my clean t-shirts and totally rocked me in chess. He would start correcting me on my moves and informing me of possible places I could go. Even though it was a horrible loss it was a great game, a game I shall never forget.

After the chess game Simon and I got some food at Mels then walked to V1 to return an ethernet cable. It was a damn long walk. V1 is too fucking far, stupid ass resnet!.

When we got back we did some hardcore cleaning then pretty much watched anime till simons dad came and picked us up. Once we got back to scarborough we called a few people up and went out to Lemon grass for dinner.

Lemon grass was quite nice as always. It was also nice seeing various people again. After a nice meal we walked next door to Destiny and sat and drank some good bubble tea. Jessica told me to try Green Apple, and it wasn't that bad. I still think banana is the better though. After Destiny we went outside and talked a bit outside for a while then everyone went home. It was a great day indeed.

Friday I had gone to yorkdale and wonderland with cheryl. We first stopped off at yorkdale so Cheryl could buy a yellow sweater. There isn't much to say about wonderland, we went on a few rides then went back to yorkdale so cheryl could do more shopping.

This women did some intense shopping. I was almost passing out towards the end of the day, but I managed to stay somewhat strong. After a long bus ride home I met up with the guys and we got together at my house and talked. I can't remember what else we did, but I'm certain we did something.

Saturday started off as a day of board games. My cousins came over and we played a game of settlers. Afterwards I went to Pacific mall and bought some hello panda's and did some simple wandering around with some of the guys. After walking around pmall we all decided to check out the "I Maid Cafe". That cafe was awesome. It was hilarious. Jessica looked like she was sick just sitting there but it was quite fun. Before we entered we see a women wearing a maid costume smoking. Probably one of the greatest sights I have ever seen. It was a damn shame I didn't have my camera.

The cafe was also pretty nice. It is much better then the crappy pho place that was there before it. Not sure if this cafe will last though. It did have some other customers and I doubt there are other maid cafes in toronto.

After we finished relaxing at the cafe everyone went home for dinner then came back later to play poker. I sat around and watched on people play or I played some good old xbox. It was a very fun filled day indeed.

Finally caught up to today. Today was a pretty quiet day as well. It started off with me cheryl and justin going to Ash bridge beach. It was a very nice beach. We quickly met up with amy and the twins and basically sat around and talked for a little bit. We played with the sand a lot and also took a bunch of photos. I can't wait to get them developed tomorrow.

After the beach I met the guys again and we went to Tim hortons and talked for a bit. We bumped into some grade 12's while we were sitting around and talking. It was quite strange because they were all dressed up. At first I thought they were coming from formal but then I realized formal was like 2 months ago. I later learned they were coming from some sort of party.

After Timmy's we went back to my house to watch a movie except the movie didn't work. Instead we talked till around 1:15 and then everyone went home.

Long posts are too hard to write. I am certain this post is littered with grammar errors. I really need to get into a blog posting mood. I miss those days when I would do daily posts. I wonder if by making a new blog and starting fresh I would have more incentive. Only time shall tell.

Proud Firemen

Another photo from the gay pride parade. The pride parade was quite a fun event. Its always nice seeing a lot of people out supporting an event.

2 days. 2 days and I will be free from waterloo. I have started my calc review and seems to be going by okay. I just need more practice with Taylor series and Taylor polynomials and I should be okay.

Yesterday was a pretty fun day. Amy Ian and Andrew came by and we all went to MKV to play some various games. First was foosball. It was Amy and I against Andrew and Ian. We were totally demolished. Amy couldn't finish and I was terrible at D. After a terrible game of jitz we moved onto Ping Pong. Ping pong was a little better. Amy was still struggling a little in that also though, so we ended up losing again. Mind you I wasn't much better either. We played ping pong for a while until we noticed the pool table was free. Pool was a lot better. Amy and I were on par with Andrew and Ian. We didn't win any games I think but we came really close. I am not too familiar with the rules of Pool, but supposedly Amy and I had won two games because the twins had scratched when going for the black ball (they missed it). For some reason I didn't think that would constitute a win, so we usually just kept playing till someone sunk the 8-ball, and it was usually the twins who sunk it. Anyways after a lot of pool we all went to Kelseys for dinner

Dinner was pretty good. The appetizers were awesome. We had chicken wings, calamari and bruschetta. I didn't really eat and bruschetta, but the calamari was damn good. If I ever go to Kelseys I will be sure to simply order calamari. The mains at Kelseys are not worth it. Once dinner was over we came back, sat around and talked for a bit then they left for home.

Today was a pretty quiet day. Most of it was spent at home playing games, watching anime and studying. Tomorrow will probably involve rigorous amounts of cramming for calc. Now I must get back to calc. I still have yet to touch up on the one thing that truly worries me....rotational volumes. But I still love calc though, it is a great course. Only course that comes close to it is classical algebra. And for anyone interested here is a link to a cool sounding number, beast number.

Can't hide

This is the second photo of Kevin I had taken when we were at Tim Hortons after Sean's party. He was always trying to hide from the camera. People are making it harder and harder for me to take photos

Today was a pretty dull day. My parents came up today which was nice. I hadn't seen them in a while. We did a lot of packing. Most of the stuff I have left in waterloo is either going to be thrown away by thursday or will be crammed in a bag and taken back to toronto. I can't wait for thursday. It will be a glorious day.

After we finished packing we went and got some mcdonalds which was nice. I haven't had McDano's in a long time. After lunch my parents left and I just continued reading manga and playing video games well into the night.

I must take more photos in Black and white. For some reason I feel my black and white photos tend to come out the best. Not sure why, but I think black and white is excellent for taking individual portrait shots. Below is a quick collage of random black and white photos I liked. If I was better at Flash or javascript I could have attempted to animate this but clearly I won't be doing that anytime soon.

Focus!

I took this photo of wilson playing DS lite at my house. Not sure what game we were playing though. My guess would be Mario kart of Big Brain Academy.

Today was a pretty uneventful day. I had my CS exam which I think went by okay. A lot more multiple choice then I would have liked though. More then 1/2 the exam was multiple choice, not much block coding. For some I imagine that would be a lot easier though, but I suck at multiple choice.

After the exam I pretty much stayed home and caught up in some manga, and played some games. Tomorrow my parents come up to take some stuff down which will be nice. I haven't seen them in a long time so it should be fun. I think we are going out for lunch which will be weird because I can't ever recall going out to lunch with my parents. I don't even know what sorts of food they would want to eat for lunch, other then tamil food of course. Well tomorrow should hopefully be an eventful day. Now I must get back to reading some Tenjou Tenge manga. Expect a post tomorrow, I'm in a daily post kinda mood. Perhaps this month will be a full month of posts. Though I may run out of photos fairly quickly.

A little tipsy

I took this photo at my house when people had done some light drinking. I can't really remember when this photo was taken but I think someone it was for jimmy and ryans drinking contest. This photo was taken after someone shot off the top of a water bottle cap and Vanessa was mesmerized or something by it.

Today has been a pretty quiet day. I got lunch with simon at Subway. Afterwards came back here and watched a bit of "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi". The anime is quite good. I can't wait to finish it.

Once the episode was over I talked to jimmy, edward and adrian on vent. It was quite funny because I had my speakers plugged in and tried talking to them. So my speakers were creating crazy resonance and I wasn't quite sure what was going on so all I could hear was jimmy and edward screaming "KRISHNA STOP TALKING!". I couldn't quite hear them but luckily simon understood what was going on and pulled my hand off the talk button. After a bit of fiddling around we got it working and it was all good. Vent is a pretty nice program. Its a shame I have absolutely no use for it though.

I have recently put all my blog photos onto picasa, googles photo sharing service. So for those that are interested the link is here. The only reason I bothered doing this was because they recently released a program to let mac users mass upload photos so I thought it would be nice to check out. It is pretty nice. I think I prefer flickr though. Even though I don't really use my flickr it is still a nice way to share photos.

Hopefully CS won't cripple me tomorrow. I am going in with a 74 I think which is quite sad. Last term for CS133 I was going in with at least a 95, that course was damn easy though. CS134 is quite hard in comparison. The marking on assignments was a little strict. I feel bad for students who aren't in CS and have to take this course. I imagine a bulk of them may be hovering a pass. I will most likely do some more studying into the night then get some good sleep. I hate morning exams.

A sea of people

There were a lot of people at the Pride Parade. We had walked down quite a long way before finding this opening. It was really good to see so many people out there supporting this event.

Well I still really haven't done much with this blog. I have changed a few things. Hopefully I can figure out a better way to display the archives, I really don't like the numeric format, I preferred the months. Also I will hopefully add a bit more crap to the left and right hand side so that there won't be a lot of white space. Once the work term starts I will most likely start on a new site. Hopefully this term I can actually sit down and learn something instead of just wasting away for 4 months.

Exams are going by okay. CS is on saturday which I hope won't be that hard. My assignment average is pretty pathetic so hopefully I can make it up on the exam. I thought algeo would be the only exam to worry about but for some reason I feel CS will be intense. The assignments were all very crazy which makes me scared

Aside from worrying about exams I also need to find a place to live. I will probably look at a few places before leaving next week. However that probably won't give me a good selection of places so I will most likely find myself coming back up to waterloo during the fall term to look for housing.

I can't wait to finish these exams. It will be nice to enjoy the last bit of summer with friends. Coming down every weekend isn't sufficient. Also the food here is starting to get pretty lame. I find myself walking 15-20 minutes to a quiznos for a sub. And also the best part about going home will be AC. No more sweating while sitting down in my room. Well back to studying for me
