More of Formal

I developed my first roll of film today. The pics came out reasonably nice. Most of the photos came out a little too pink for my liking but I managed to remove a bit of it in photoshop. I took this photo when everyone at shawns table had gotten up I think. I can't remember if he was posing, or talking to someone behind me but either way the photo looks reasonably nice.

Nothing really happened today. I split a pizza with kings for lunch which is always good. Afterwards I picked up a lot of photos from shoppers. For those who are interested, digital prints are 29 cents a print. I printed 39 digital pictures and 1 roll of film which came out to around $20.96 (The digital prints alone were $13). Hopefully I can develop more photos by thursday. Right now I used up all my money, and a bit of kings, to print the stuff from today.

Anyways english was a big waste of time as always. Turns out I have a Life of Pi Quiz wednesday which I will most likely fail. My english mark is already screwed. After english I talked to jess in the music room and saw some of the photos she took at formal. Eventually shawn came in and he started playing piano. After period 5 ending we started heading back to the lockers when they started to announce the Gr 12 valedictorian. After a bunch of useless compliments to all the people they announced that shawn won. After hearing this I started to cheer and accidently pushed him into a wall. Well done shawn

Well since I have so many photos to post I will post 2 today. The next couple days, will be formal photos because I know everyone is interested in seeing how the formal photos turned out. This is a photo of all the guys in their suits. Their are bigger group shots of people wearing their suits but I don't think they are that great. Most of them came out pretty grainy and slightly blurry. Only problem I had with this photo was ryans red eye. I was very sad when I saw it. I must find out how to remove red eye using my flash.

Formal day started with me waking up at 7:30 and going to school to make the announcements. Came home at 9:30 and watched some movies. Also planned on where to change and who would drive me to Ryan's

At around 3:45 ish, Deng picked me up and we went to Ryan's. Played games for a while and waited for Dano, Simon and the 4 girls. Limo was half an hour late but they called so we knew. Sorry about the other limo that was an hour late. Limo was okay, little leg room but it was nice enough. We got there a bit before 6 and i went in pretty much right away to piss. After that, we walked around taking pics and eating some hor dorves (close enough). At around 6;30, a lot of people started arriving and we took even more pics. At around 7:30 we went to our seats and waited. We got some bread, that was fine. Then the salad, others didnt like it but im used to it. The chicken was ok, as was the mash potatoes. The cheesecake was a bit soft but ok too. Then there was dancing for a while and people also went taking pics. After a while, the slide show was played and it got great responses. KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA. After that, more dancing and pictures. We took a 24 pics, LOST pic, Iroquois pic, Kelsey pic, and a lot others. Good pics. Limo pick up at 12:15 and went to Ryans and waited for him to drop girls off. He came back and dropped people off and picked people up. At Krishna's we made food, ate food, slept, played Halo 2, watched Chappelle season 2, talked, laughed a lot, saw the sunrise and prolly some other stuff. William was great entertainment, the alcohol made him pause in teh middle of sentences and just zone out. He also laughed at the sligthtest thing. I slept at 8 and woke up at 12. This is where i saw Chappelle and it was amazing. so many good skits. Wayne Brady, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Prince, Rick James, Making the Band, all good. So we ate more and talked some more until 11 ish and i watched some TV and went online. that was a lot of writing, now im sleepy again.

Formal was wicked

This photo was taken pretty late at night. It was all the yaoi brothers + 1. This photo is for jo, because I am sure she loves it. The original Yaoi team was me redford kevin and Simon T. We called ourselves yaoi because we were 4 guys wondering aimlessly around downtown. Anyways we decided to take various group photos. Their was a kelsey photo, iroquois photo, taylor, yaoi and a bunch others. A lot of people were taking photos which was crazy. I was mainly using my film camera so I hope the photos turn out okay.

Now we move onto formal. It was very cool to see all my friends dressed up. Anyways formal started off kind of slow. Mainly just a bunch of people taking photos. After a while we got to our seats and got some really crappy salad thingy. It was digusting. I am very glad I didn't eat it. After that we got our main course which wasn't that much better. The dessert was also not that great. The dessert was some cheesecake. I'm almost certain the cheesecake willie made at my house was much better.

Some of the highlights of formal were when they were giving out awards. Jo had won chatterbox I think. Simon won drama queen. And Ken won class clown. Kennth did a quick little speech after winning. He said something like, "Class of 2004-2005, I have a few words I would like to share with you...BAIT OUT BIATCH!" Everyone was laughing. What was even crazier was that the vice principal was right behind ken when he said it. Ken is my new hero.

The slideshow went by pretty smoothly. There were a lot of thigns I could have probably fixed but I didn't have the time. Hopefully people liked it. It took me a LONG time to make that. What made the slideshow great was all the guys started a chant saying "KRISHNA KRISHNA" Thanks everybody.

After more photo taking we all headed home. My dad picked up raymond elaine and I. When we got back jonathan was waiting outside my house for about 20 minutes. I feel so bad for him. Well the afterparty went by without many problems. A lot of people had come at one point. I won't bother naming them all, it will take too long. Basically it was all the guys, willie jess, mackliners, and kevin and wilson. We didn't do anything fancy. We talked, played games, some played poker. After a while Vanessa and William showed up. William had drunk a bit of liquor before coming so he seemed really weird. He would be saying something then like look off into space and lose himself. Also ryan told a stupid flintstones joke and william could not stop laughing. William was a good source of entertainment for a while.

When me and kings went to drop off chintan we got a call from cheryl saying jo wanted to head over to my house. So we picked her up from cheryls and drove her over here. She didn't look all too well, but after a quick shower she looked much better.

After more talking a bunch of people went to go watch the sunrise. I decided to stay back and sit around and talk. It was great. Eventually everyone left around 8 a.m. I didn't get any sleep so I am super tired. Hopefully I can last till the end of the day.

A great day!

I took this macro shot a long time ago. Can't really remember when, but I remember that was a very sunny and warm day. I remember it so well because it was the first day I had walked home from school and saw no snow. Today was much like that day. Except today was much warmer and had a very nice breeze.

Anyways the real reason this day was so great was because I finally got into Waterloo. I have no idea what I do now but I'm still very happy. Now I can skip 2x as many classes.

Hopefully formal will go by smoothly. The slideshow is done and ready to go. A few minor problems, but I don't have the time to fix them now. Sadly it can't match nicks amazing slideshow from last year, but hopefully people will like it.

All that is left to do is sit back and relax. In my mind the school year is already over.

Bleh

So very very tired. Been working on SAC assembly for a while and so much work to do, really stressed. to anyone i've either ignored or been bleh to, ill be better after june 3. formal is coming soon so that will be a break from working but not before having a chem test tmrw. not much has happened and im still deciding wat uni to go to cuz western sent an acceptance letter and listed the scholarships they would provide while waterloo should provide scholarships but i dont know if it is less or more than western. in closing, fricken fracken blixen blacken blah! (something i say when im tired or stressed) (either that or fuck)

Lets watch a movie!

I took this photo during a scene the guys were filming for brandeds last movie. I think the clip they are watching is daniels 60 second clean up which wasn't put in the movie. It was a very funny scene though.

Its been a while since I have blogged, but I will try and keep this short. I decided to skip wednesday because I wanted to finish up my english preentation and also catch up on some lost sleep. Its always nice skipping a full day in the middle of the week. You feel so free. Anyways later that day I saw Star wars episode III opening night, first show at STC. The movie was quite good. Lucas managed to avoid screwing this movie up. A lot of it was some very nice fighting. A few corny lines here and there but that is expected. I recommend it for everyone. Even people who had given up on star wars.

The next day I was damn tired, so I skipped first second and third period. I had woken up at 12:00 so I had to quickly rush to school. Luckily I made it for period 4 where I talked to my group about our presentation for friday.

After school we started filming scenes for the next movie. I still am confused about exactly what is happening and how it will be done but kings and jimmy know what they are doing. And ryan still has his cameraman skills so there isn't much to worry about.

After some filming I went home and I broke up each section of our presentation into parts for Me, Felix and Ben to read. Ben was a little slow at giving me his part so I was too lazy to break it up. I decided instead to take a few of his lines and let him finish off by reading his last little chunk, which was about 2 pages. How wrong was I. We presented today and it didn't go by that well. At first it was pretty good but at one point I think I hadn't sent Ben the final version where I took some of his lines, so basically ben doesn't stop reading for about 3 full pages. It was pretty funny because after he finished one chunk he took a deep breath then said "Okay then...." then continued with the next section. But I don't care anymore. Its over and I'm happy. I'm also happy I am done with physics. That test was a true rape. All thats left for me to do now is finish up a few more bits of the slideshow, and set up the after party.

Anyways afterschool justin had come over to my house and we joined my brother while he was watching Rushmore. Rushmore is a very humurous movie. I reccomend that to people too. Some of the lines are just amazing.

After rushmore Justin and I played some GCN until he left. After he left ryan came by and we got some pizza pizza which was very good. We split a medium 5 topping pizza for about 10.90 which I found to be reasonably priced. The pizza was also very good.

After I had finished two slices we picked up eddu and got groceries. It was funny seeing eddu shop. He kept pulling out his flyer, looking for stuff on sale. The only thing left to get is more condiments. All I have is ketchup, mustard and relish I think. So whoever is reading this and is going to my bbq be sure to bring some condiments.

After all the shopping we headed back to my house and met up with jo and adrian who were waiting paitently for our return. The first thing I did was check who they were talking to on my MSN account. They were both having a very funny conversation with yvonne. I don't think I should go too far into detail but the conversation was very funny. After a short time adrian left and nelson showed up. We sat around and talked for a while playing random games.We then began watching some of the banting videos, like the pumpkin man, and panty raid 1,2, and 3! Those 2 videos are by far the greatest things the bantings have ever done. i have also heard great things about interviews by ken, but I have yet to see those. During all this andrew had shown up too.

After Jo left people finished watching the basketball game and then we started to watch team america. Now this movie sucked balls. Some scenes were funny, but for a whole it was pretty nasty, and also very rude. Lots of random swearing, stupid songs, and nasty scenes. We didn't even really see the ending. Nelson was watching this lego spiderman video on my computer which caught everyones attention from the last few minutes of the movie.

So remember. Watch star wars 3, rushmore. And DON'T watch team america. It was a very bad movie. Waste of my time!

Michelle wearing goggles

I posted a picture of someone else wearing goggles a while ago but I can't remember who. Anyways I like these photos. I don't see people wearing goggles too often since I didn't take chem or bio.

Nothing really happened today. I think classes got to vote for validictorian. Our class for some reason didn't get a vote which sucks. I think they will report the winner next monday. I can't wait to see who wins.

I have been wathcing escaflowne for the last few days and it is quite good. Hopefully after wednesday I can catch up in all the anime I have missed out on because of my cruddy net.
