Ryan hiding

Ryan doesn't seem to like getting his photo taken. Regardless I took this photo. It came out quite nice. This was taken at a Wendys on....steeles I think. I don't even really know.

Today was a pretty normal day of work. I was in BCE place so I was online for the entire day just chatting away trying not to fall asleep. Amy was teaching me about these photography concepts called rule of thirds. I have already forgotten parts of it I think, but the basic rule is whatever you are taking a photo of, divide that frame in 9 small squares (like a sudoku square). Now the focus of this picture should be on one of the lines, and not in the centre. I am still very skeptical on this rule. I may try to follow it to a certain degree, but I feel more obligated to completely throw the rule out of my mind and only take pictures which contradict it. This gave me the idea of making a new blog perhaps called "Focus on the center", where I post photos where the focus is in the centre of a picture. But I am quite lazy and I doubt I will do that though.

After work I headed over to Hairy Tarantula's and looked at some manga. I am very tempted to buy some Neon Genesis manga. The anime was very intense and also cofusing. I expect the manga to be equally as intense. Only problem is though I have no money so I doubt I will buy it.

When I got home I ate dinner and watched some good old Lost. As always the series is crazy. Its hard waiting weeks at a time for a new episode. After an episode I always wonder how I can survive a full week without lost.

Flowers outside bubble tea joint

I took this photo of some new bubble tea place that had opened in pacific mall. I don't think the bubble tea was any good, but the flowers looked very nice. I love taking photos of flowers. Hopefully when spring starts I can take more photos of them.

These last two days have been pretty laid back. At work I am pretty much trying hard not to sleep. Today was pretty cool because I was allowed to change a keyboard we were about to throw away into a Dvorak keyboard. A Dvorak keyboard is a normal keyboard but the key layout is different. Its suppose to be better then the QWERTY layout (named after the first 6 letters on a standard typewriter... I think). This layout is suppose to be better for your hands, and also suppose to be a lot faster. If your on windows you can change your keyboard to the Dvorak layout, but it takes quite a bit of effort to get used to. I am still struggling to learn, supposedly if you use it continuously your WPM increases quite quickly.

Beyond changing my keyboard layout nothing happened at work. After work I picked up my march metropass and now await some good BBQ pork for lunch tomorrow. I am in BCE place for the rest of next week which will be pretty nice. I can do some reading and talking on msn which will kill time pretty quickly.

Since I didn't do a post yesterday I shall add another photo to this post. The photo below I took in Kingston. I believe this building is the Kingston city hall or something. I am not too sure, its a government building of some sort that's for damn sure. This looks almost the same as a photo I took of the liberty grand. Not sure what month that photo was taken though.

Dominic staring

I can't exactly remember where I took this photo. My guess is the arcade in Kingston, but not quite sure.

Thursday was a very dull day so nothing to mention about that, but Friday was quite fun. It started off as a normal dull day of work but got better afterwards. When I got home people came over and we went to licks for Andrews birthday dinner. Not many people=e were aware that licks was a simple burger place, regardless we ate and people had fun. After dinner we went back to my place and some people were upstairs playing 360 or some system, while a bunch of people were downstairs playing Chez Geek, a card game Sean had left at my place.

Everyone totally ganged up on me in the first game. I was doing really well, then out of no where I went from having 15 points (which is a lot) to 0! Biggest punk off ever. After that I more or less gave up.

Today was a pretty fun day as well. It started off with another driving lesson. This time I felt I was doing a lot better. I wasn't struggling as much, but I am still quite bad. Hopefully tomorrow I will do a little better.

After driving shawn and Amy came by and we sat and talked for a bit then got some good dim sum. Dim sum was great, I don't go too often and really enjoy it when I do go. After a nice meal we walked around pmall for a bit and walked around. I got some hello panda's and that was pretty much all that happened. I went to cheryls after pmall and we sat around for a bit then went to shoppers.

Cheryl was having difficulties deciding what hair products to get, and I was killing time by playing megaman. For dinner we went to milestones which was actually quite nice, the food was okay, but the place itself was nice.

Hopefully tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Mahi thinking

I took this photo some time ago when I had gone to my cousin Mahi's house to play Settlers. Settlers is a great game, I still have yet to win a game though.

Today was a pretty fun day. Ryan, jimmy, philip, kings, and nelson came over and we watched a korean movie called crying fist. It was actually a lot better then I thought it would be. The movie is about these two characters and their personal lives and how they live crappy messed up lives. The movie was filmed really well. The colours really really vibrant which was a little surprising.

Now its time to sleep. On a side note, 241 views of Suicide and 157 of Steroids.

Justin is hurt

I took this photo after justin and dano had a bit of a fight. The end result was justin getting a cut on his forehead and having to wear a band aid. It was quite a funny sight.

Work today was more boring then usual. The highlight of today was leaving to get lunch. I got some really cheap bbq pork which was excellent. It was quite hard to eat because I couldn't chew it into small pieces so it was a little hard to eat at times. It was quite good though considering I got it for about $3.75. I now know where to eat while I am at BCE place.

After work I went to Hairy T's again and picked up a manga for ryan. After that I headed to silver snail and checked out what they had there. Silver snail was a pretty big disappointment. Eventually I met up with Simon and we went to Anime xtreme and I got some final fantasy keychains which were quite nice. I will probably take a few photos of them as the week progresses.

Another dull day of work tomorrow. Hopefully I won't fall asleep.

Mickey Mouse!

I got this Mickey from Cheryl for Christmas. It is by far one of the coolest plushes I have ever got. The only other plush that is better then this Mickey is my pooh bear, because he has a heart.

Friday is a big blur to me so I will simply skip it for now. I think we go dinner, but that's about it. Saturday was a pretty interesting day. It started off with a trip to pmall with Simon Chris and Cheryl. It was pretty fun, I got some hello pandas and walked around looking at anime DVD's. Cheryl picked up a t-shirt, and Simon and Chris didn't really get anything. After sitting around for a few hours we went out and got dinner, then headed to adrians house.

At adrians we just watched the skill contest and dunk contest. I was watching/playing tales of eternia during the contest. The only good contest I liked was the dunk contest. Some of the dunks were quite cool. I won't bother going into them, but my favourite dunk would probably be when Robinson jumped over spud Webb. That was quite an intense dunk.

After the dunk contest I watched some desperate housewives then sat and played some more tales.

Sunday was much more relaxed. Around 6ish ryan picked me and jimmy up after going to the gym to watch a crappy korean movie at his place. Jimmy was out like a brick in 20 minutes. Ryan and I managed to last pretty much the full movie. Needless to say the movie was terrible. After the movie we went to dinner then went to my place and watched god of cookery. God of cookery is excellent. It was still good the second time. So many classic moments. I still hate the fact that Stephen chow refuses to cast a hot looking girl as the main character in his movies. His female leads are always hideous, it boggles my mind. Sometimes they get progressively better looking as the movie moves forward, but still not that great.

Today was a dull dull day at work. I read my manga and talked on msn for most of the day. Luckily elaine was online so the last 3 or 4 hours of work seemed to go by pretty quickly.

Once work ended I met up with Cheryl and jo and walked around eaton centre with them for about 20 minutes before heading home. I stopped by cheryls place to help fix her wireless router. It was quite a strange router, didn't have the normal settings like mine. Regardless I got it working then went home. Now I must watch some anime before heading to bed.

On a side note, the suicide video is at playcount 195, and steroids is at 115

Can't look away

I took this photo during a bio class where philip had played the steroids movie. Speaking of the bio video you can now watch it on google video at this link and also the suicide video is available as well here.

Work sucked today. Windows is just mind numbingly retarded. Today a bulk of it was spent trying to fix some stupid printers. For some reason if I set a printer on the network as a printer on the network it won't work. But if I set the printer as a local printer and make set the printer port as an IP it works. Makes no god damn sense.

After work I finally printed all those black and white photos. A lot of them came out over exposed but still look quite nice. Hopefully I will be able to steal my brothers scanner and scan them all in later.

After getting the photos I headed over to my cousins place and we just played some games, talked and ate dinner. We played settlers of katan again and I was struggling throughout most of it. Even with my cousins great help I was totally ruined by the end. The game is still wicked though.

Now I must cry myself to sleep because there is still one more day till the weekend.
