Elaine at Timmy's

I took this photo a while ago. This was when we had gone to Tim Hortons after Seans party.

This post is just to see how the new layout looks. This layout was stolen from my brothers blog. He made it for Shima's brother and I thought it looked quite nice. I couldn't seem to find his blog online anymore so I imagined it wasn't in use. If it turns out to still be alive somewhere this layout will probably change once again.

If there is anything that I should change please tell me because it is currently exactly the way my brother left it. I will hopefully be able to change the banner sometime in the near future.

Update:

Well the person who this layout was made for isn't using it so it should be okay for me to use it. Hopefully if my brother doesn't mind I will leave this layout here and leave this as a blog and perhaps make a new site which will be more of a photoblog.

Update 2:

Archives are finally working. The formatting for them is damn ugly though. The next step is to figure out how to change the way it displays the names of the months. After that I will need to add some stuff to the left and right so that the blog isn't super white

Closed indefinitely

Whenever I look at this site it just screams ugly. I will attempt to recreate it over the work term, perhaps something that is more like a photoblog. For the time being though don't expect any new posts.

I only see 3 people in this photo

I took this photo while at the pride parade. The photo is great because you can easily see Andrew Justin Ian but if you look along the bottom you can see the top portion of amy's head.

Last week was a pretty normal week of school. The weekend was quite interesting though

Friday I saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2 which was quite a good movie. I was confused from time to time throughout the movie because I couldn't really understand exactly what they were saying. Aside from that though the movie was still very good.

After the movie people came over and we played some DS lite and talked for awhile. The next day was spent helping kings downtown handing out flyers for his new site/company thingy called cr8tive. The art exhibition was pretty interesting. I am quite bad at talking to people so I was doing a pretty lame job handing out flyers, but I still managed to hand out quite a few. It was really cool to see all the interesting things people make. I found a lot of the glass art to be incredible.

After handing out a bunch of flyers I went back up to Scarborough to go to my aunts dinner. It was nice seeing everyone again, also the food was great. It was also really fun talking to my uncle. Overall a very great dinner.

After the dinner people came by my house and we played Big Brain Academy and talked well into the night. It was very fun. 5 hours later I would wake up and find myself in Waterloo. Now I must start working on various assignments and projects

A proud Asian

I took this photo at the pride parade. I forgot what these group of people called themselves. The pride parade was excellent. I will probably post a few more photos as the days go on.

Friday was a pretty laid back day. People came over and played some poker and ds lite. Poker was quite intense. Jimmy was struggling but came back and won it all. It was quite funny to see him play.

As always playing DS was wicked because everyone is so focussed. Me and kevin had a big brain academy battle going. I demolished him twice in a row. I even took him out in his greatest game, sound bites.

Saturday I saw superman returns, and that movie was wicked. A lot of people didn't seem to like it, but I felt it was excellent. I can't describe how much I liked it with words.

After superman it was off to Adrians house for a bbq. The bbq was quite nice. Joanna fully demolished me and the twins in Naruto 3. It was quite sad. I was shocked and appalled at how well this women played Naruto. Eventually more people came and we moved to playing DS lite a bit. I felt a little better playing the lite because I actually did well in the games.

But once again we got weary of this and then me jo amy moved on and watched Saw in adrians room. I was certain jo being a scaredy cat would stop watching midway but she powered through and finished the movie. The movie isn't scary but still surprising to see Jo finish it. She didn't get past 5 minutes the last time she tried to watch it.

After Saw jo went home and I went back downstairs and played some good old DS lite again. We continued to play well into the night and then headed home around 3.

Sunday was a very relaxed day. I played a bit of soccer with philip and kings. We just kicked the ball around in the park. Even though it wasn't anything fancy it was still wicked.

After soccer I went and grabbed some dinner with Ryan justin and jimmy. We went to McDano's and saw Nelson working hard. After dinner ryan dropped us off at my house then headed home. We waited at my house for a bit then at around 11 headed to Destiny for some bubble tea. A lot of people went to Destiny which was quite fun. It was a shame they had to split us into two tables. I was sitting with Sean Justin Simon Elaine Ryan Jessica. We all sat around, talked a bit, drank our bubble teas, and played some simple games. Elaine taught me this weird camp game and I totally destroyed her in it. It was very funny seeing her go into deep thought before certain moves.

After destiny we went back to my house for a little bit and then everyone went home.

Monday was a very quiet day. I was suppose to get breakfest with elaine but I was too tired and just slept till lunchtime. After lunch though Elaine and I went to woodside because she had to get some bus tickets and drop off a letter at the post office. Once we finished this we walked to Mcdano's to see if nelson was working. Luckily he was, so we watched him work for a bit and hoped that the line would be small so that we could go up and ask for a smile. He was very busy though so after a little bit we just got up and left and went back to my place.

When we got home elaine played Big brain academy. She was doing fairly well in most of the games. She beat some of my records which I found quite impressive. Also in one of the math games she would start shouting out the answers and I would be like "WTF are you talking about" and punch in my answer, only to see its wrong.

After she finished a few tests it was time for me to go so I said bye to elaine and headed back up to waterloo. Now I must finish my algeo assignment which is due tomorrow. God I hate algeo

Philip enjoying an Ice Cap

I took this photo when we had gone to tim hortons after Sean's birthday party. That was a great night.

These last few days haven't been anything that special. I got my conflict resolutions mark though. Didn't do that great but that course was damn annoying though. I finished with a 74 I think. Hopefully I can do well in jap to pull this mark up. Even though I had just gotten back my jap midterm and received a 70 on it. I still think I can finish with an 80 in the course though. I should be able to do well in the final.

In other news Algeo officially makes no sense. The course is far too abstract for my likings. I will probably be living in the math tutorial centre soon asking the tutors for help in algeo. Calc is still good though. It not nearly as complex as algeo. CS is also not that bad. We have finished up Binary trees and are moving into different types of data storage. Cs is wicked, if only the prof wasn't so crappy.

Well now its time to do some intense calc then lost magic and sudoku squares into the night!

EDDU!!!

I don't think I have posted a photo of eddu in a while. I usually have so many great photos of Edward, like this one.

Thursday I got back my CS midterm and I did okay I guess. My mark was 81. I lost a few marks on stupid crap, I need to be more careful.

After CS I went home and helped Shawn do some final packing then headed with him back up to toronto. One of my Friday lectures was cancelled so I didn't want to stay for just a one hour lecture. So I decided I earned a 4 day weekend. I was skeptical about leaving simon alone, towards the end of the week it looked like he was going crazy. Luckily though he survived the weekend and when I saw him today he is in fine health.

Thursday night involved getting dinner at BK then intense day of DS lite at my house. Kevin had recently bought a DS lite so it was quite fun. If I remember correctly we played a lot of big brain academy and mario mini games.

Friday was a great day as well, I got to sleep in later then usual and also got around to playing a lot of Lost Magic. Justin lent me this game and its quite fun. You basically are a mage and when you cast spells you draw out the seals on the DS touch screen. The better the seal looks the stronger the spell is. The game is quite fun but can get crazy difficult at times.

Later on in the day I went and saw Tokyo drift with cheryl. The movie wasn't as lame as I thought it would be. The main character had a terrible TERRIBLE voice. Like it was just god awful. He would talk sometimes and I would be laughing. The drifts were pretty cool though. This one was probably more enjoyable then the first one.

After the movie people came back to my place for poker and DS lite. A bunch of people were playing Mario kart for a few hours. I was helping Elaine in Math. I was trying to at least but we stopped fairly quickly. We didn't really cover too many sections.

Saturday I finally got my hair cut. After that I pretty much stayed home till around 7 or 8 and then I went to visit Philip because his sister had recently gotten a macbook. The computer was a thing of beauty. I installed a few programs and taught her some simple things about the macbook. After an hour or so I headed back home and went to kbbq.

Kbbq was great. We had to wait a while for a table but it wasn't that bad. I am slowly preparing for the bet I have lined up with Elaine.

After kbbq we went back to my house for more poker and more nintendo ds lite. We were all playing mario kart and then later big brain academy. Big brain academy was awesome. It was quite funny seeing how fast some people were at these mini games.

Today was mainly just the pride parade. It was my first time going and it was actually a really interesting event. It was great to see so many people show up to the event. It was also quite funny. Everyone is smiling, lots of crazy gay people. It was a little shocking to see some things but still very cool at the same time. I took quite a few photos, hopefully they will all turn out.

Now time to play some Lost magic and watch anime.

Butter on a plate

I took this photo when we went to Le Biftheque for Daniel's birthday. The place was too dark to take photos of anyone so this one was one of the few photos I had taken.

Last weekend was a pretty average weekend. I saw Cars which I found to be a great movie. Pixar never really lets me down. Some parts were a tad boring but it was still very funny. I have to say though its no incredibles, but still a great movie.

I also got around to watching Nacho Libre last weekend. Jack Black is hilarious. The movie had almost no point, very strange at times but still quite enjoyable. Jack black has some very memorable lines in the movie. A few of the songs in the movie were also quite nice, I am currently in the process of trying to find them.

Beyond those two movies the weekend was pretty laid back. I saw a lot of people which is always nice. I also got to face Justin and Sean in some Mario games. I even got to play tetris online which was wicked!

In other news Summerlicious is coming up and it would be great to go this year. If anyone is interested in attending this year please drop me a message. A few people are already going, but the more the merrier.
