I have no idea when I took this photo but I am certain it was quite a long time ago.
Once again another long break between a post. Last week was nothing too special. The weekend was fairly exciting though. Friday Ian drove us back up to Toronto. When I got back I met up with a few of the guys and we got dinner. After dinner people came back to my house and we sat around and talked for a little while. Pretty boring day and very tiring.
Saturday was more interesting. After waking up I was suppose to meet up with cheryl for breakfast but we were both bums and neither of us woke up. Instead of breakfast we decided to just get lunch at STC and watch a movie.
I met up with cheryl and we got some mcdonalds (we planned to get this for breakfast) and talked for a little bit then quickly rushed to go see Over the Hedge. The movie was really good. At times very touching, and also very funny. Avril Lavigne did the voice of one of the characters and she didn't do that great a job. The other voice actors were fairly famous and were very funny.
After the movie Cheryl and I wandered around STC for a bit. We stopped off at the disney store to see if they had any new eeyores. They didn't have any eeyores sadly but they did have a nice sale on mugs. It was two for $15 so we each got one. Cheryl got a Tigger mug while I got a Minnie Mouse mug. I think cheryl was very confused as too why I was so interested in getting that Minnie mouse mug. I personally thought it looked really cool. Also it was classic minnie which was another bonus. I am a big fan of classic Mickey and Minnie mouse.
Our next stop was Walmart. Cheryl needed to buy some cooking stuff so we walked around and picked out some pans and a blender then headed home. Since it was getting late I had to head straight home and see what was happening for dinner. After a fair bit of talking it turned out we were going to Le Biftheque steakhouse.
Le Bieftheque was a pretty nice steakhouse. I strictly mean in appearance. I don't eat steak so I don't know if it was all that great. Simon said his was okay. The dish I had sucked. Justin got daniel a little birthday cake thingy. It was pretty funny seeing daniels expression. The place was too dark for me to take a photo sadly.
After dinner we headed back to my house. Some people played poker while others sat in my room and watched an anime movie Karas. Karas was actually a very interesting anime. I am not sure how many other people enjoyed it though. I can't wait to see what happens in the next part.
Sunday was a very fun day as well. It pretty much consisted of playing board games with my cousins. We played four games of settlers back to back (a small break for dinner). The games were awesome. Settlers is by far one of the best games I have played in a long time, it is very fun. I won the last game, and was VERY close to winning the second last game.
Once the last game ended everyone had pretty much left. I got a message from nelson saying he wanted to go out and do something so we all went to tim hortons. Since timmy's was full we then relocated to Destiny. This was my first time actually sitting down in destiny and drinking bubble tea. It was pretty nice. I got a banana bubble tea. The drink tasted like this old anti-bacterial medicine I took as a kid called amoxicillin. The drink was wicked! Brought back lots of great memories.
While sitting around Kevin kept drawing all sorts of weird photo's of jimmy and penises. It was very funny. After a little bit Simon, Elaine and Vanessa also dropped by destiny. They didn't sit with us though because there wasn't any space at our tiny tiny table. After a lot of talking we headed out. We stood and talked to vanessa simon and elaine for a short bit then headed back to my place. We all played a $2 game of poker and then called it a night.
Now I must do some intense jap studying and also pray that I find my jap notebooks.
