My Street

These last few days have been pretty fun. Monday I went back to school to get my marks and I went down in all my subjects. Not a lot though so I'm still safe. My final marks are Data 78, Physics 72, English 68. Physics I dropped 8% which was pretty bad. That exam was really hard though. I was struggling for a good chunk of it. After getting my marks the plan was to go downtown with ryan but that didn't really go by that well. Instead kevin jo and I decided to go to Jimmy's. Kevin wanted to make a bet that he could beat me to jimmy's house. Kevin was rollerblading and I was running. He gave me a 5 minute head start and barely won. I saw him enter Jimmy's house when I turned into Jimmy's street.I was so close. Now I owe him an Ice Cap.

When I got to Jimmy's I was about to pass out. I played a bit of ro until jo got to Jimmy's. When Jo got here we watched My sassy girl. Only problem though the vcd was all scuffed up so it kept skipping. We stopped 20 minutes in. During the movie ryan nelly philip and Dano came by. After some sitting around Ryan and I went to Dano's.

At Daniel's, we watched crash which was an amazing movie. I was surprised at a lot of the scenes. Excellent movie, would have been good to see in theaters. Dano also gave us dinner which was very good. After crash ryan dropped me off and that was the end of that day.

Yesterday was also a very fun day. We finally went downtown. It was MAD hot though. Only people who went were me jo and ryan. The bus ride to Eaton centre was quite fun. I pulled out some line paper and we played hangman. I used simple words like window, zoology and owned up jo and ryan. It was quite fun.

At Eaton centre we dropped off our resume at the peoples bank. I doubt we will get work but who knows. After dropping off the resumes we walked around and helped ryan shop for clothes. And by we, I mainly mean jo. I sat around and watched and shook my head at the price of clothing. After a whole lot of shopping we walked to chinatown centre.

It was insanely hot. I was sweating just from walking. When we finally got to chinatown centre ryan couldn't find what he was looking for. Before leaving I bought some super cheap anime dvds. I bought Initial D and My Sassy Girl for $20. It was like $4 a disc which is quite cheap. When I opened it they were really cheap dvds. There wasn't even a real label. Since we were tight for time we headed back home. On the way back we played pictionary and that was also enjoyable. I was surprised at how bad I am at drawing.

When we reached STC Joanna was picked up by her parents and me and ryan looked around for some shorts. After a little more shopping we headed back to ryans to drop off his stuff. We waited around till 8ish then went and got some pizza for dinner. We headed back to my house to eat, and then nelson showed up after his SAC dinner. Eventually cheryl also requested to come, so ryan picked her up and then we watched some lost. Lost is amazing. I have seen the first 4 eps now and I must say it is a very interesting series. I can't wait to finish it.

Hopefully people will come by later today so I can continue to watch it. Until then I must watch something else.

These last few days haven't been anything that exciting. Only thing worth mentioning were the two movies I have seen. I think thursday or friday I saw Howls Moving Castle. This is a movie by Hayao Miyazaki, creator of Spirited Away, Princess Monoke, and a lot of other great movies. I personally feel every movie he has made is great. This movie was no exception. Even though its an anime movie, and we all know a lot of people don't seem to like anime, this movie was great. The dubbing was also done quite well, I didn't mind any of the voices. We missed a bit of the beginning because we got there late but we picked it up. The animation for the movie was amazing. His last movie and this one both seem to incorpate more CG which is good to see. If you watch some of his older movies you can see its just a normal anime. But Spirited away and Howls moving castle have various scenes that seem greatly enchanced. Anyways go watch it, its wicked.

Today we saw Batman Begins. I had high hopes for this movie and it was quite good. I felt the fight scenes could have been better, but that isn't a main part of the movie. The good thing about the movie is Batman is still quite dark. Not much else to say about batman begins. I would say it is as good as the first two batmans. Christian Bale did a good job. He also did a good job as one of the voices in Howls moving castle.

I took this photo around the time Pizza pizza opened up at woodside. The pizza pizza there is wicked. The people who run it are very friendly. Also its a good place to go and split a lunch with people. If it opened up a few years ago I would probably die from eating too much pizza.

Yesterday Nelson dano and I went to ryans house to help him put some water resistant coating on his deck. The fumes were pretty bad, but the only one who was having hard times handling it was dano. Nothing really happened until we finished everything. When we started taking stuff back into his house all our hands were full. So when we go to the front door I was waiting for daniel and ryan to finish moving there stuff so that I could get rid of the stuff I was holding. Only problem though was while I was standing their my pants fell. It was pretty bad. What made it worse was ryans grandma was basically right next to the door. I was told after my pants fell she just walked away. My pants were down for a good 30 seconds. I turned around to ask nelson for help but his hands were full, so I had to quickly drop my stuff and pull my pants up. It was very funny.

After we put everything away we went to the park to look for ryans dad. Ryan told us his dad would give us money for dinner for helping him out. So after we got the money we headed to pizza hut. The dinner was very enjoyable. Nelson kept saying 3 out of 2 and we made fun of him for that. The food was good. I like pizza hut. After about 3.5 slices I was out of it though.

After dinner we came back here and played connect four and some trivia.

Today will hopefully be an interesting day. I made reservations for summerlicious at Jump today. Hopefully it will be good. My brother had gone there before and liked it, hopefully it will be good. The plan for today is to see Howls moving castle. The movie is by Hayao Miyazaki. He makes some of the greatest anime movies I have ever seen. They are very kiddy though, but I like them still. I have high expectations for this movie as well. I pray it will be great.

Intersection

I took this photo the day someone set the ground under a tree on fire. After running to take a photo of the fire by the time I got back everyone had left me. The punks. So I quickly ran to catch up to them. If you look at the photo you should be able to see a group of people passed the intersection. After seeing me they decided to wait

These last few days have been amazing. Its as if summer has already started. I haven't done anything spectacular these last few days though. On saturday a bunch of the guys went Kbbq and that was fun. I can never get enough kbbq. Even though I can feel my life ending sooner I still love KBBQ.

Sunday I went to cheryls to do some studying. We ended up watching Ms. Doubtfire on tv and then we saw Resident evil apocalypse. Resident evil was pretty stupid.

Yesterday I didn't do anything. Willie and her sister came over to escape from her grandparent yesterday. We played with the Oujia board for a bit then I got pwned in connect 4.

Today will also most likely be a pretty dull day. I have my exams tomorrow but I don't plan on doing any major studying. I may end up going to ryans later today to do help him move stuff. Hopefully I will be of some use.

That face looks very familiar

This was taken the day before the last SAC assembly. I don't seem to have a single normal picture of Cindy. She always seems to stick her tongue out at my whenever I take a photo of her. Not sure why. Cheryl did the same thing for a while also.

Today was a fun day. I woke up around 11 then took a shower and ate some lunch. My initial plan was to go to school and get some englihs marks, but since I took to long eating I ended up skipping the whole day. So I stayed home and watched some anime. A little later in the day Willie calls me and tells me redford and her are coming over and they bought something cool.

So when they got here it turns out they bought a Ouija board. Willie and I were playing around with it for a bit. It will be fun when we get more people.

We sat around and talked for a bit then Willie and I made some cookies. Willie for some reason has never eaten raw cookie dough. I was very shocked, because raw cookie dough tastes wicked. Its most likely not smart to eat a lot, but a little won't hurt. After talking and eating for a bit Willie left.

Redford stayed a while long and we started watching cool street fights. Some were crazy. Street fights are cool to watch. I would hate to be in one, but something about watching them is very interesting. Not sure what.

Now I must watch more anime and pray I don't fail my reading exam tomorrow.

Walking in the rain is amazing!

Today there was a crazy rainfall at night. I was walking in it for a short time and it was amazing. Greatest feeling ever. Not sure why, but It was crazy. If it ever rains that crazy again I suggest everyone to do that. Just walk around in the rain. Everything else that happened today can't even compare to walking in the rain today.

Jon Sleeping

I took this photo during our afterparty. Jon had really long hair at the afterparty. However a while ago I heard his parents weren't happy with him not cutting his hair, so they decided to take it upon themselves. They had cut his hair while he was sleeping with a bowl or something. I haven't seen him since this happened, but when it first happened it was suppose to look really stupid. However his aunt or someone fixed it up for him, so now he looks more normal.

Today was very dull. In data I learned I have only 11 absences. So that means I can skip 9 more times. If only I had 9 more days of classes, I would skip each of them. English we started to watch cast away, and physics was more Mj.

Tomorrow will be a good day to rest. Especially since these last few days have been insanely hot. I'm so happy that the teachers aren't really recording Absences. Its my last week to skip. I must take advantage of it.
